  2. After being prompted to create an account and doing so, I lost the ability to control my devices via Alexa and the WeMo app lost the ability to contact them too. But everything still worked with Siri. On a hunch, I just tried restarting the WeMo app (iOS), logging out of my account, and logging back in.
  3. This means that owners of Wemo Mini plugs can simply open the Wemo iOS app, update the device's software, and immediately gain the ability to add the plug into the Home app, add it into existing.
  4. The Wemo App lets you control your home appliances and electronics through your Wemo® devices using an iPhone® or iPad®. Whether you want to turn OFF a light from bed, turn ON a fan from the couch or make sure your lights are ON before you come home at night, the Wemo App will work for you.

Mine stopped working with Alexa a few weeks ago, and i couldnt re-establish connection to wemo from the skills screen with Alexa. I just now figured out that if you start from the wemo app, go to settings - connect to other services - Amazon Alexa, and then connect there using your Amazon login, things work again with Alexa.
